METSUYAN IV was built to the owner’s ideas and aspirations;
A practical, comfortable, sensible, seaworthy, long-range
family yacht. The two large tenders, both fast enough for
waterskiing, two jet-skis, scuba gear and lots of other
water sports equipment, including a dive board that fits
on to the side of the sun deck, are some of the features
for the active guest and a delight for the children. The
zero-speed stabilizers guarantee minimal movement at anchor.
Naval architect Jaron Ginton, interior designer Ken Freivokh
and builder CBI Navi made the owner’s dream come true and
created the lovely METSUYAN IV.
The interior is designed in a relaxed traditional style
with excellent woodwork, mainly cherry wood and marble details.
The beautiful oval dining table for 10 guests and the smaller
coffee table in the saloon are made of sycamore. Alfresco
dining allows for 12 guests at the large table on the aft
deck.
Accommodation is for 10 guests in one master cabin on the
main deck and four guest cabins below deck. The full beam
master cabin has an adjacent study and changing room. The
fine marble en-suite bathroom has basins on either side
of the central shower, a whirlpool bath and a separate head.
The four guest rooms are situated in the centre of the lower
decks, with two doubles and two twins. There is a connecting
door between a double and a twin, suitable for parents with
children or as a VIP suite. All cabins are en-suite.
The sundeck is spacious with bench seats, a barbecue, a
bar and loungers that can be placed in the sun or in the
shade. A spa pool is flanked by a spread of cushions for
sunbathers.
At anchor, guests can access the crow’s nest, a small platform
on top of the radar arch providing stunning views of the
surroundings.
The full-width upper saloon is wonderfully spacious as there
are no side decks at this level.
The deck is exceptionally large so 10 people can be accommodated
for diner at the extending table, even when the main tender
is in place.
Four guest cabins are placed in the exact centre of the
lower deck with a lozenge-shaped lobby which, in common
with the main-deck lobby, has a central niche carved out
of solid cheery, creating the perfect display for an illuminated
sculpture.
In the un-shaded area aft, a spa pool is flanked by a spread
of cushions for sunbathers.
