Day 1: Anse Marcel ( St. Martin )
Welcome in the Marina of Anse Marcel in the North of St. Martin
and boarding for the night.
Day 2: Anse Marcel / Orient Bay ( St. Martin ): 5 NM
A short sailing trip to Orient Bay, a long sandy beach with restaurants
and animated bars.
Day 3: Orient Bay / Anse Colombier / Gustavia ( St. Barth ): 14
NM
Anse Colombier is a part of the Marine Reserve and a great spot
for snorkelling: get out the flippers, diving masks and snorkels!
A stopover in Gustavia is a good opportunity to taste the cosmopolitan
animation in tax free shops and restaurants lining this charming
harbor.
Day 4: Gustavia / Basseterre / White House Bay ( St. Kitts ): 45
NM
An island with a rich historical past St Kitts is as well famous
for its volcanic massifs. Hikers might like to undertake the ascent
of the Mount Miserey . The interior of the crater is disappears
under the rain forest inhabited by colourful birds and monkeys.
The capital Basseterre and its houses in pastel colors decorated
by verandas with balustrades has a very British charm. Don't miss
to do some provisioning at the colorful stalls of the public market
that offer all kinds of fish and other market products.
Day 5: White House Bay / Charlestown ( Nevis )
Pleasant stopover at the capital of Nevis. The esplanade at the
waterfront with its kiosks, colorful restaurants and boutiques is
very charming. Excellent local food specialities at reasonable prices.
White House Bay is a peaceful anchorage with a very beautiful beach
of white sand.
Day 6: Charlestown / English Harbour ( Antigua )
Tour the ancient home of Admiral Nelson from the 18th century which
has been nicely renovated: Admiral's House Museum. In the evening
the steel-bands create a great atmosphere in the bars and restaurants
– don't miss it
.
Day 7: English Harbour / Non Such Bay ( Antigua )
This anchorage, very well protected by Green Island and a big coral
barrier, is one of the most pleasant of Antigua. Have a look at
the exhibition of local arts and crafts at the old windmill of Harmony
Hall.
Day 8: Non Such Bay / Deshaies ( Guadeloupe ): 45 NM
The most famous anchorage of the leeward coast is facing a pretty
village nicely arranged around its church tower. Several boutiques
and traditional Creole restaurants.
Take the opportunity to join an excursion to the National Park
of Basse Terre.
Day 9: Anse Deshaies / Pigeon Island: 10 NM
Don't miss Cousteau's Underwater Reserve, a real coral garden. Enjoy
the sunset on the Malendure Rock.
Day 10: Pigeon Island / Les Saintes: 20 NM
The geographical diversity and the beauty of this micro archipelago
of less than 15 km? is incredible. Unforgettable view points from
the high "Mornes" which are accessible by walking or biking
under the watching eye of the Iguanas. Magnificent creeks and beaches.
Day 11: Les Saintes / La Dominica: 22 NM
Far from the usual tourist itineraries: Dominica offers its tormented
relief topped by a rich green vegetation from which gush spray and
waterfalls that supply the lakes with cool or steaming water.
Day 12: Dominica / St. Pierre ( Martinique ): 55 NM
Former economic capital of Martinique, St Pierre became very quiet
nowadays but there are still some local restaurants, small shops,
a supermarket and a local market. The museum concerning the devastating
eruption is very interesting.
Day 13: St. Pierre / Anse Mitan ( Martinique ): 15 NM
Close by you find a good choice of restaurants, bars and boutiques
in this quartier of Trois Ilets.
Day 14: Anse Mitan / Grand Anse d’Arlet / St. Anne
The beautiful sandy beaches of Les Anses d’Arlet are lined by coconut
trees. A typical creol landscape with its colourful fishing boats,
huts and stalls. Pass the famous Diamant Rock before anchoring at
St. Anne, one of the most beautiful beaches of Martinique.
Day 15: St. Anne / Le Marin: 21 NM
